Note: Everything in this section is very likely to be outdated. For up-to-date information, please see the pages of Paul Ratcliffe, who kindly took over maintence of XWorkplace and WarpIN.
The following software projects are hosted on these pages:
WarpIN is intended to become the new universal OS/2 installer. It is already becoming more and more popular among OS/2 developers. For example, XWorkplace and Odin [netlabs.org] are using it already.
See the WarpIN project page for details and download links.
XWorkplace, the most feature-rich open source OS/2 Workplace Shell enhancer available.
See the XWorkplace project page for details and download links.
Some older projects from my old homepage are also available for download here. Note however that these are no longer actively maintained, so contacting me about those is a waste of time (for both you and me):
CommandPak, a set of REXX programs for easier command shell use. This is freeware and provides improved command-line editing (e.g. tab-key completion), improved "dir", "copy", "rename" commands, and much more. Can be used as your standard command shell.
Download. CommandPak 1.64 was released January 23, 1998 and is available as a ZIP file (380 KB) from ftp.netlabs.org (Germany).
inf2html will let you decompile any OS/2 INF or HLP file into a set of HTML files, which you can then change and retranslate to INF or HLP using Andrew Pawel Zabolotny's HTML2IPF package. Links will be properly inserted, and most formatting info is preserved. Bitmaps are properly extracted too. For example, inf2html translates the whole WPS Programming Reference (800+ KB INF) in just a few seconds into 381 HTML files.
Download. inf2html V0.91 was released Nov. 12, 1998 and is available as a ZIP file (85 KB) from ftp.netlabs.org (Germany). It is Freeware with full source code under the GNU General Public Licence (GPL).
My IconPak is a set of 1302 OS/2 icons, which all contain 40x40-pixel-wide images. Not all of them contain 32x32 though. The icons are sorted into subdirectories for your convenience.
Download. IconPak 1.0 was released Nov. 26, 1998 and is available as a ZIP file (1453 KB) from ftp.netlabs.org (Germany). This is released into the public domain.
